Docter Eves Brooks, age 92, of Huntsville, AL, (formerly of Sylvania) died Sunday June 25, 1989 at Whitsburg Manor Health Care.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28, from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doyal Shirey officiating. Burial followed in the Burnt Church Cemetery with the Rainsville Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include: son, Elmond C. Brooks, Warren, Mich.; daughters, Mrs. Olene Patty, Warren, Mich., Mrs. Ernestine Floyd, Roseville, Mich., Mrs. Eva N. Reid, Huntsville and Mrs. Emma Dellerche, East Detroit, Mich., ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, D. D. Brooks, Flat Rock, T. T. Brooks, Fort Payne and Leon Brooks, Sylvania; sister, Mrs. Carrie Goodridge, Rainsville.
