Sydney Vyonne Hedger, 80, a life-time resident of Henderson/Las Vegas, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, Sept. 13, 2012. Sydney was born July 8, 1932, in Alamo, to Margaret and Sidney Pace. She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, David A. Hedger; her parents; sister, Dorothy Cannon; and brother, Leland Pace. Sydney is survived by her children, son, Ronald Hedger and his wife, Karen, daughter, Karen Sage, and son, Douglas Hedger and his wife, Tiffany, all of Henderson; grandchildren, Shannon Hedger Cammilleri and her husband, Anthony, Christopher Hedger, Lindsey Hedger, David Sage and his wife, Katy, Brielle Sage Parises and her husband, Nick, Jonathon Hedger and his wife, Megan, Kedric Hedger, and Eric Hedger (deceased). In addition, she was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Danica and Scarlett Cammilleri, and Malia Sydney Sage. She also leaves behind a large extended family with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She worked for many years in the Clark County School District, and was a faithful, devoted meber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her list of friends is truly extensive. She touched the lives of all she knew in a very special way that they will never forget. Viewing will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Palm Mortuary, 1325, N. Main St. Services will be Saturday, Sept. 15, at the LDS Chapel, 1525 Guilford, Henderson. Viewing at 9:30 a.m. and service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be next week at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N. in Las Vegas, next to her husband.
