She was born Jan. 15, 1939, in Columbiana, at her home, a daughter of Harry R. and Ruth Doudna Crider and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Garrett, a graduate of East Fairfield High School, was a homemaker. She loved cooking, baking, embroidering and enjoyed going to Mountaineer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Garrett, whom she married Oct. 12, 1957, and died Aug. 31, 1987.
Nancy leaves two sons, Brian (Roberta) Garrett of Struthers and Bob Garrett of Campbell; two daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Burrows and Tina (Robert) Rodgers, both of Lowellville; seven grandchildren, Amanda and Billy Burrows, Brian Garrett II, Jessica Garrett and RaeLynn, RJ and Justin Garrett; and two great-grandchildren, Julie and Joanna.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
