Mr. Clyde William Parker, age 60, a resident of Morton passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at his residence.

Visitation was held 4-9pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 2pm Monday, September 17, 2012 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in the Hodge Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ricky Watkins officiated the services. Arrangements by Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Parker was born in Attala County in 1951. He loved watching football and was known for his hard work and dedication to his job. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Parker and Martha Howell Parker; sisters, Lois Stewart, Idell Parker and Annie Parker; brother Rufus Parker.

He is survived by his 6 children, Gary Parker of Morton, Hope Parker of Morton, Paula Parker of Morton, Francis Brown of Magee, David Parker (Pamela) of Homewood and Sandra Watkins (David) of Arkansas; 4 sisters, Shirley Smith of Morton, Joyce Dupree (Harold) of Taylorsville, Glenda Porter of Forest, Mary Lee Brooks of Newton; 2 brothers, Roy Parker of Morton and James Cecil Parker of Morton; 7 grandchildren, Kaleb Cornelius, Andrew Brown, Miracle Faith Parker, Twyla Parker, Kimberly Stinson, Dustin Stinson and Madison D. Perkins; 1 great grandchild, Marcus Parker; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
