Mrs. Katherine Brooks, 95, of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died late Saturday evening, November 30, at St. Mary Home.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Thomas Wojiechowski and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks was born February 6, 1890, at Koblenz, Germany, daughter of the late William and Maria Bobeck Breitback. She came to the United States in 1920, settling in Manitowoc where she resided since. She married Charles Brooks in Germany. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1958.
Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Angelus and Bronwen Brooks of Manitowoc, William and Delores Brooks of Milwaukee, Nichlos Brooks of Two Rivers and James Brooks of Milwaukee; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, a great grandson, two brothers, two sisters, and a daughter-in-law.
Friends may call at the Chapel at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 7p.m. this Monday evening where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Parkside Funeral Home. Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
