Mr. Scott, an auto mechanic, had been a member of the Flat Rock Methodist Church, Moose Lodge, and a 40-year member of the Eagles Lodge.
A son of Noah and Caroline(Keller)Scott, he was born Dec. 16, 1897, in Flat Rock. He was married Feb. 6, 1971, to Ruth H. Sharp, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Scott, Shelbyville; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Henrietta Patterson, Naples, Fla. One son and 20 brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Murphy mortuary with the Rev. Ed Mohr officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
