LAY SERVICES SET TUESDAY

The Rev. Lester Lay, 85, formerly of Broken Bow, Okla., passed away Oct. 31, 2003, at De Queen, Ark. He was born Aug. 8, 1918.
Lester and Faye were married Sept. 19, 1990, in Reno, Nev.
He was a former pastor of Lukfata Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on vehicles and wood work.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Martha Lay; and three sisters and two brothers.
Lester leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Faye Lay, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Jerry Baker, Vallejo, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Ruby Barrow, De Queen, Ark.;one stepson, Ed Allen, Paris, Texas; three brothers, Denver Lay, Orlando, Fla., Delbert Lay, Westchester, Ohio, and Willis J. Lay, Scottsdale, Ariz.; four sisters, Loretta Wendland, Goshen, Ohio, Lila Loggins, Crab Orchard, Ky., Rose Bowers, Los Angeles, Calif., and Yvonne Velma Logue, Crab Orchard, Ky.; and three grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Lukfata Baptist Church. The Rev. Cletus Hawkins and the Rev. Paul Puckett will officiate. Burial will follow in Holly Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday Nov. 3, 2003, at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow.
