Sandra Jane McAdams Johnson, 71, of Kimberling City, Missouri, died Monday, July 18, 2005, at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Missouri.

She was born November 12, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Charles D. McAdams Sr. and Maxine E. Huebner McAdams.

She was raised in Burlington, Iowa, Monroe, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee. She was a very talented person; was a majorette and graduated from Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana. Her hobbies include acting, painting, scuba diving, archeologist in the Holy Land and Egypt.

She received her nursing degree from Grayson County College in Sherman, Texas. Served as a registered nurse at Baptist and Methodist Hospitals and retired from the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Survivors include three sons, Charles O. Johnson of Kimberling City, Missouri, Arthur B Johnson III of Memphis, Tennessee and Michael L. Johnson of Los Angeles, California; two grandchildren, Samantha F. Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee and Adam M. Johnson of of Memphis Tennessee; one brother, Dr. Charles D. McAdams Jr. of Dallas, Texas; one nephew, Charles D. McAdams (Trey) III of Chicago, Illinois; and one great niece, Taylor Maxine McAdams of Chicago, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt, Phyllis McAdams.
