Her first marriage on Jul. 10, 1851 in Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA was to James Patterson, the son of Ebenezer & Sally Patterson. They had two children of this marriage, one boy and one girl. The daughter was Edwina Augusta Patterson Clark Tallmadge Stanley, who died on Aug. 2, 1949 in Troy, Lincoln County, Montana, USA, is buried beside her third husband Samuel Frank Stanley at Milnor Lake Cemetery in Lincoln County, Montana, USA. She also had four children by her second marriage to Daniel Marshall. Three boys, Wellington, Ira D., & Leavitt Isaiah Marshall, and one daughter, Elnora Altha Marshall Buck. All were born in Wisconsin, USA. At the time of her death, the Oak Ridge Cemetery, was referred to be located in Proviso, Cook County, Illinois, USA
