Mrs. Cook was the daughter of Mr. Charles E. Bowdle and Mrs. Clara Beard Bowdle and was born in Union township, Jan. 19, 1902. Her marriage with Mr. Cook was an event of Dec. 30, 1926. The below was taken from a hand written obituary. Author unknown
She was an active member of the Sunday School and Ladies Aid Society of Pleasant Valley Church, to which she was united at an early age.

Although our hearts are heavy, the burden is lightened by the thought that she will always be with us, in spirit if not in the flesh, to help and cheer us in times of trouble and despair - and to laugh and play with us in times of joy.

A sweet, cheerful , kind, loving wife and mother; and a dear friend of us all.
