Carl "Dutch" Levant Doschades, 74, of Dubois, passed away September 16, 2012, while cutting wood in the mountains near Dubois.
Dutch was born February 24, 1938, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Levant Doschades and Mary Rasmussen Doschades. He grew up and attended schools in Dubois.
On Sept 6, 1957, he married Karen Williams in Dubois. They were later divorced. In 1997, he married Gail Snarr. She passed away in 2006.
Dutch worked at the U. S. Sheep Experimental Station in Dubois and for the State of Idaho Transportation Department from which he retired.
He loved fishing, hunting, cutting wood, gardening, and tinkering here and there.
Dutch is survived by his son, Kevin (Elise) Doschades, of Rigby, and a sister, Margaret Starkovich, of Boise.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at the Baptist Church, 220 S. Oakley in Dubois. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
