Mrs. Sarah Ellen Owens Fox, wife of William B. Fox, died Sunday at her home just across the state line in West Virginia at the mouth of Blacks Bear Run near the homestead of John Blair, dec'd. Mrs. Fox was sixty years old and the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. David Owens, late of Wayne Township. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Mrs. Fox had been ill all Summer, but pneumonia was the immediate cause of death. Besides the husband, four daughter and two sons survive, as follows; Mrs. Minor Bowers, Mt. Morris, RD, Mrs. Ross Bowers, Star City, West Virginia, Mrs. J.E. Yoders of Waynesburg, ; Miss Iona Fox at home, John Fox at home and Ivan Fox at home. The funeral was held Tuesday the services were in the Olive Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by the Rev. Williams, of Mt. Morris. Interment was in the Olive cemetery.
