Frederick Llewelyn Marriott was a world-famous carilloneur and played carillons all over Europe and the United States. He was also a famous organist (notably at the Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church, located in Bloomfield Hills, MI and taught music (notably at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. He made many recordings, and one of his compositions (played by Belgian pianist Geert Dehoux is hopefully still accessible at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro6xB-pvGy0. His second wife was Amalya (Toni) Hegyi, a Croatian pianist, organist and composer in her own right who came from a family of musicians who played for the finest houses in Europe.
