Mrs. Emery was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Loraine, a daughter of Glenn and Elsie Lambert Adair. She married Clifford Emery Dec. 2, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan. He Survives.
Mrs. Emery attended school in Loraine. She retired in 1995 from the North Adams Home housekeeping department. She was a member of Loraine Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Emery and his wife, Judy, of Zebulon, N.C., and Richard Emery of Garner, N.C.; two brothers-in-law whom she had reared, Ronald and Donald Emery; two sisters, Mary Daugherty of Mendon and Dorothy Brown of Quincy; a brother, John Adair of Williamstown, Mo.; four granddaughters; and four great -grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemarie Adair; a brother, Robert Adair; and a half-brother, Leroy Short.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Curry-Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon by the Rev. Oliver Taube. Burial will be in New Loraine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday with family meeting with friends after 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
