Death of Ernest F. Schramm
Ernest F. Schramm, a farmer living 9 miles south of Lexington, who shot himself last Monday during a period of despondency caused by ill health, died Wednesday at noon. Mr. Schramm was born in Saxony, Germany, August 5, 1842. He came to America in 1870 and seven years later to Lexington, where he worked 10 years for the Winkler Furniture Company, afterwards moving to a farm where he has since lived. He is survived by six children.
The funeral services conducted by Rev. J.C. Bierbaum, will be held at the home this morning at 10 o'clock.
