She was born May 4, 1918, in Elkhart to George O. and Zella C. (Howard) Borneman. She married Dr. Wayne W. Lansche on June 15, 1941, in Elkhart. He died Oct. 28, 1968.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia A. Stoops of Mishawaka, Mary Kay Witchell of Litchfield Park, Ariz., and Susan E. (Gary) Hayes of Flemington; one son, Wayne W. (Jean Ann) Lansche of Bakersfield, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, George Borneman of Elmhurst, Ill., Bill Borneman of Oconto, Wis., and John Borneman of Ventura, Calif.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathryn Lynn.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 W. Franklin St., Elkhart, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. George Borneman will officiate, with assistance by Gary Hayes, Mrs. Lansche's son-in-law. Burial will be at Rice Cemetery.
Mrs. Lansche was a 1936 graduate of Elkhart High School and attended Western of Ohio University. She was a medical secretary at Elkhart General Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Elkhart, Tri Kappa, Riverside Club, P.E.O., Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary and past president of the Elkhart County Cancer Society.
Memorials may be given to Child Abuse Prevention Services.
