EVERETT A. SINGLETON
October 29, 1906 ~ July 30, 1991

Funeral services for Everett Singleton, 84, of Holly Creek, will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Owner and operator of Singleton Grocery from 1951 to 1966, he died Tuesday in McCurtain Memorial Hospital.

The services will be conducted by Rev. Mike Durham and Rev. Cletus Hawkins. Burial will be in Holly Creek Cemetery.

A member and deacon and music director of the Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church, he was married to Jewell Griffin in Broken Bow on Jan. 21, 1927.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell, of the home; three sons, Ralph Singleton, Texarkana, Texas, Charles Singleton, Broken Bow, and Joe Singleton of Holly Creek; three daughters, Cladys Stewart of Holly Creek, Mary Baggerly, Valliant and Charlene Winters, Ft. Towson; one brother, Ross Singleton, Idabel and two sisters, Flossie Richburg of Boswell and Frances Duffey of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow is in charge.
