As a child I thought he was magical as there wasn't anything he could not do even though he had been blind from an early age. He was a well respected resident of Shawmut, AL for most of his life, and had retired from West Point Manufacturing Co.
He was survived by his bride Arrie Elizabeth Smith, three sons; Martis W., Edmond Hollis & Thomas Green. One daughter; Nathaleen Tyson, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Charlie was the son of the late Alfored G. & Georgia A. Musick Danford. We will never forget the sound of his wonderful laughter or the twinkle of his beautiful blue eyes. Uncle Charlie was like a grandfather to me and his memory will live forever in my heart.

The smell of Old Spice and the feel of a soft, flannel shirt...
