ZUGELDER, S. Diane 60, of Springfield, died unexpectedly Sunday evening, September 16, 2012. She was born in Springfield on November 3, 1951, the daughter of the late Vernon E. Campbell and Florence I. Jones. Diane was a member and two-time Past Madam President of F.O.E. Aerie 397 and a member of the Union Club. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, John E. Zugelder; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Chuck Newburn of Miamisburg; stepson, Michael (Jennifer) Zugelder of Cincinnati; two granddaughters, Jessica (Josh) Chaney and Ava Zugelder; a sister, Dorene (Rob) Carse of West Virginia; two brothers, V. Duane (Regina) Campbell of South Vienna and Denny (Barb) Pence of Columbus; and nieces and nephews, Melissa Crawford, Robert (Nicole) Rumpke, Molly (Nate) Wilson, Kelly Campbell, John Carse, and A.C. Carse. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Pence. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Diane's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor David Hill officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
