This wonderful woman was a legacy to her family and to all that knew her. No woman have I seen that had such a servant's heart! She was so filled with love for others and always believed the best of them and went out of her way to help them.
Elaine's son, Skip, lovingly cared for his beloved mother towards the end of her life. With great love, we also especially honor friends, Opal and Joyce, for all their hours of loving care that they gave to Elaine during the last days of her journey here on earth.
Elaine came from the Stearns family of nine children. Elaine is survived by a brother, daughter, son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous Stearns' family members.
Funeral services were held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Meridian on Saturday, December 6th at 10 a.m. There was a short graveside ceremony afterwards at Meridian Cemetery.
