Albert Milton (Red) DeSpain Was a veteran of WW II, a Private in the US Army. Afterwards he worked as an employee of the Kentucky Highway department.
During the war years he married Mary Callista Vessels and they had 5 children, 1 boy and 4 girls. Mary was a daughter of Flaget and Josie Elizabeth Vessels. Albert and Mary divorced about 1950 and Albert remarried to Virginia Alene Skaggs, daughter of Walter Franklin and Cora Frances Howell Skaggs.
