Everett R. Deitrich Dies
Everett R. Deitrich, formerly of Emporia, died Wednesday morning in Providence Hospital in Kansas City. Mr. Deitrich had lived for 40 years in Emporia, much of the time in the Broadview Hotel. He had been a buyer of for the Rudy-Patrick Feed Company from 1907 until 1937, when he retired. For the past six years, he had lived in Waterloo, Iowa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. Neil Heidrick, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church. Graveside services in Memorial Lawn Cemetery will be conducted by the Saffordville Masonic Lodge No. 395, A. F. and A. M.
Mr. Deitrich was born Feb. 25th, 1881, in Chase County, the son of John and Barbara Murray Deitrich. He was a member of the Toledo Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Saffordville Masonic Lodge and a 50-year member of Jamoria Chapter 278, Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by one son, Ernest, and he is survived by one son, Ralph N., of Middleton, Wis., and one grandson, Ralph E., of Middleton.
