RITES TODAY FOR HAMMON PIONEER
John B. Noblitt Succumbs After Suffering Paralytic Stroke
Final rites for John B. Noblitt, 58, farmer near Hammon and a resident of Roger Mills county for almost 25 years, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist church in Hammon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. F. Curtis, pastor of the Baptist church there.
The pioneer's death was due to an attack of paralysis. He only lived two days after suffering the attack.
Surviving Mr. Noblitt are his widow and five sons, all of whom reside near Hammon. The sons are Thelbert, Carl, Tom, Utis and Lelan Noblitt.
Interment was made in Red Hill cemetery. Killough-Hullum, funeral directors of this city, were in charge.
