F.R. was a Private Co.K. 60" Regiment Ohio Infantry, he came to the Spring Hill area with his wife (m: 10/1/1861) Susan (Hines) Morrison, their oldest two sons, William G. Morrison and Joseph Morrison, and Susan's brother Tom Hines and his wife. F.R. was a school teacher in Ohio, then came to Kansas (traveling in a covered wagon) to farm. F.R built quite an empire with his sons over the years after many years of hardships in a rugged territory. Siblings: unknown.
