Mrs. BABB was born Independence Day, 1926 in Sebastopol. She married James H. BABB in Visalia and they lived there until moving to San Luis Obispo. James is an instructor at Cal Poly. Mrs. BABB was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Grover City where she sang in the church choir. She was president of the Women's Missionary Society and a member of the 5-Cities Christian Women's Group. She was very active in child evangelism and offered a foster home for teenagers in the community for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, James and sons, James of Grover City and Michael of Portland, Oregon; 3 daughters, Vicki GREABY and Carol MANN, both of Portland, Oregon and Kathy BABB of San Jose; and 6 grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to World Vision for Hungry Children, c/o Bethel Baptist Church, 1935 Newport, Grover City, CA.
