Jean never married. She had a very full life. She had a wonderful sense of style and sophistication of manner's and was always put together. She made at least two trips with her Mother, Janet by ship back to Scotland. When I was born my parent's couldn't decide on Robin or Heather so Aunt Jean said, name her Jane.(My Mom added the "y".) So when my first child was born in Nov. 1987, I named her for Aunt Jean, Whitney Jean! She worked many years as a nanny in New York and she took care of her mother, Janet Potter, whom she lived with on St. Vincent St., before she passed away in Nov. of 1973.
