Larry Ray Newman, 57, of Grayson, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
He was born October 17, 1954, the son of the late Roy Newman and Florence Collier Newman.
He was a former carpet layer employed for many years by Stamper's Carpet in Grayson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Parker Newman, and two brothers Albert Newman and Clyde Newman.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Crystal Newman and son, Christopher Newman both of Grayson, three brothers, Carlos (Loretta) Newman, and Harlan Newman both of Grayson, and Lloyd Newman of OH., five sisters Hazel Burton, Irene Griffin, and Helen Harold all of Dayton, OH., Christine Grooms of Vandalia, OH., and Mildred (Gerald) Fleenor of Midway, OH., three grandchildren, Whitney Griffith, Bailey Newman, and Blake Griffith.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Horsley Cemetery in Carter City.
