Charles A Link died of Bright's disease, Tuesday afternoon,April 25, age 64 years, at the home of his niece, Mrs James S Truman, Front Street, where he had resided since he returned form the South during the winter,He was the son of the late Joseph Link, of this village, and was for many years a prominent clothng merchant.Business reverses arose & he went to Binghamton, where he was a successful salesman untilfailing health & strength compelled him to cease work.He is survived by one son C Ferris Link of New York. The funeral was conducted at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Truman home by the Rev. Sidnew Winter, rector of St. Paul's Church & burial was in Evergreen Cemetery Owego Times 27 April 1911
