She was born July 26, 1933 in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Isaac and Alma Schoener Byrne.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Ermlick and Kenneth A. Axton; and two sons, George Ermlick and Robert A. Axton.
Survivors include six children, Richard Ermlick of Carmichaels, Donna Hiles of Merrittstown, Eugene Axton of Daisytown, Kenneth Axton of Uniontown, William Axton of Brownsville and Ernie Axton of Cochranton; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Henrietta Reed of Allenport.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville. A funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Clifford Reynolds officiating.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
