Resident of Concord, Elinor "Ellie" Marcella Costello, 77, died in Concord on September 12, 2012. Ellie, the daughter of Earl and Elinor Brown, was born in Buffalo, NY on June 23, 1935. Ellie was a Personal Banker with Bank of America and US Bank for over 25 years. She was an avid reader, Oakland A's baseball fan and volunteer at Mt. Diablo Medical Center (John Muir Concord). Ellie was a longtime member of St. Bonaventure Church who enjoyed her bridge club and dinner group. She especially enjoyed her travels with Dick and times spent with family and friends. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wilkerson (Richard); sons, Mark Costello (Woletta), John Costello and Michael Costello (Michelle); seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her brother John Brown. She was predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) Costello in 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 commencing at 10:00AM with Funeral Liturgy at 11:00AM at St. Bonaventure Church, 5562 Clayton Road, Concord. Inurnment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
