2nd Sergeant Thaddeus M. Bostick enlisted with "The Yancy Independents" Co. G 14th Regiment, GA. Vols. Infantry, Thomas' Brigade, Pender's Division, A.P. Hill's Corps, Army of Northern Virginia.
He enlisted on July 9, 1861, probably in Worth County in southeast Georgia. He was elected Junior 2nd Lieutenant on April 18, 1862. He died at Richmond, VA on July 22, 1862, and is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery there. This unit still exists today and Thaddus Bostick appears on the original muster roll.- c. Bozeman, Georgia.
He had been admitted to Chimborazo Hospital on August 10, 1862, with diarrhea.
