Florence Ignatius Norris one of the best known farmers of the lower section of this county died last night at his home near Beane, age 77 years he had been ill a long while ,he is survived by the following children Mrs. Samuel Atwood, Ms. Emma Norris and George Norris of this county and John Norris of Tennalytown the funeral will take place from the baptist church at beane at 2 pm on Sunday. Florence Ignatius was born January 12, 1836 in Montgomery County Maryland. He was one of ten children of William Ignatius Norris & Mariah Leonard ,on February 6 1836 he was baptized at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown Washington DC.on March 26, 1861 he married Martha Emeline Martin together they settled in the lower section of this county to raised their family .
