Mrs. Harriet E. Blankenbaker to be Buried tomorrow Afternoon
Funeral services for Mrs. Harriet E. Blankenbaker, who died in her 86th year Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her son G. W. Blankenbaker, near Dunavant, Spotsylvania County, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home. The Reverend W. L. King will officiate and interment will take place in the family burying ground.
Mrs. Blankenbaker was born November 23, 1848 in Madison County. She had lived in Spotsylvania for 37 years.
She leaves the following children; Mrs. Ernest E. Dunavant, of Dunavant; W. E. Blankenbaker, of Dunavant; E. T. Blankenbaker and G. W. Blankenbaker, Brock Road, and John E. Blankenbaker, Potomac. She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Hawkins, Lucian Chewning, Irvin C. Clore, A. J. Gayle, James L. Clore and Herbert Dulin.
Active pallbearers will be Wilmer Carpenter, Wilmer Blankenbaker, Medmord Jones, Delma Blankenbaker, James Blankenbaker and Cleve Blankenbaker.
