Mrs. Annelle Jerrine Payne, age 61, of Trion, GA, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Floyd Medical Center.
Mrs. Payne was born March 11, 1951 in LaFayette, GA, the daughter of Barney Edley Russell and Dolores Plemmons Russell. She was employed at Mt. Vernon Mills. Mrs. Payne was a member of Pennville Church of Christ. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Russell.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Glenn Payne; daughters, Brittany Payne, Brianna Payne, and Heather Thompson; brothers, James Russell, Darrell Russell, Roger Russell, and Lamar Russell; and a grandchild, Alexis Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Pennville Church of Christ with Min. Robby Eversole and Min. Jim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Garrett Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Randy Young, Robert McQuese, Justin Thompson, Eddie Holland, Richard Compton, Nolan Crisp, Neil Brooks, and Keith Compton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Fred Duhon & Staff; and all members of the Ladies Sunday School Class of Pennville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Payne will be in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Pennville Church of Christ.
