Eleanor, 72, of Charlotte, MI died Saturday. September 22, 2012. Mrs. Ottgen was the daughter of Bernard and Eleanor (Stiles) Bennett.

She is survived by her children: Tony (Kellie) Ames of Portland and Cindy (Jim) Nichols of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jeremy Ames, Heidi (Greg) Ide, Kaela Nichols, Casey Nichols; great-grandchildren, Austin DeMuth, Nevaeh DeMuth; and siblings, Lester Bennett and Phyllis Evans.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1989.

Eleanor was a cashier at The Eaton Place, belonged to the Eagles and the "Laugh-a-lot Club", and enjoyed Bingo as well as crossword puzzles. She was very proud of her family, and loved her dogs.

Charlotte Frontier Days was an event when she and Ralph dressed up in matching outfits, delighting the crowds, and she loved Christmas time and all the joy that accompanied it.

Funeral services were on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Pray Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Jenson officiating.
