SAN LEON - Z. T. "Andy" Anderson, 92, of San Leon, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2006, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Mr. Anderson was born November 25, 1913, in Galveston, Texas. He retired from Monsanto as an Instrument Supervisor. He was a member of Shrine of The True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Zachary and Eleanor Anderson and his wife of 63 years, Katherine Anderson.
Survivors include his son Zack Anderson, Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Dickinson; daughters Carolyn Sue Long and husband Don and Welanda Moore and husband Richard, all of San Leon; grandchildren: Brian Baker and wife Debbie, Debi Feazell and husband Willie, Brad Speights, Zachary Anderson III, and Misty Thompson and husband Scott; great-grandchildren: Dalton and Dallas Feazell, Crystal Baker, Kennedy Thompson, Gabrielle and Patrick; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Anderson III, Brian Baker, Willie Feazell Brad Speights, Don Long and Richard Moore.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 96268, Washington, DC 20090-6268, the American Diabetes Association, National Processing Center, PO Box 1130, Fairfax, VA 22038-1130 or a charity of your choice.
