STANLEY ~ Eric Brian Abernathy, 45, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
He was born in Gaston County, the son of Marie Pennell Abernathy of Stanley and the late Grier Junior Abernathy.
He is survived by one daughter, Crystal Perez of Belmont; one son, Drew Abernathy of Stanley; one sister, Dawana Huffman of Stanley; one brother, Keith Abernathy and wife Andrea of Lincolnton; and seven grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Abernathy, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont.
