She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimballton. She attended Audubon County Schools and Viola High School.
On October 10, 1938 she married Leonard (Dutch) Blohm at Blair, Nebraska. They lived in Storm Lake, Carroll, and Audubon where he worked for Iowa Public Service Company until July 1954, when they moved to Kremmling, Colorado. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Audubon. She enjoyed bowling as long as her health permitted and was interested in all sport activities.
Preceding her in death were her parents and 2 brothers, Leonard and Harry Nielsen.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard (Dutch) Blohm, of Kremmling, Colorado; her brothers and sister: Maurice Nielsen, of Audubon, Arnold Nielsen, of Sequim, Washington, and Loretta, Mrs. Kjer Christensen, of Kimballton: and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
