Jerry Clements and Leona Cowan Dillard's resting place in Bethel Cemetery, Funston, TX. Leona's birthday is incorrect on the stone. She was born Nov. 16th not the 1st, 1873. This grave is surrounded by other family members. At the foot of J.C.'s grave is a small baby's unmarked grave covered with iris and blue bonnets. That is their infant granddaughter, Peggy Marie Dillard (my sister) and daughter of their son James 'Jack' Cowan Dillard and Lillie fay Humphrey.

This headstone is made from the stone dug from the Lueders quarry that was thriving during my dad's youth there. It is called Lueders Limestone.
