Edward H. Fuller, who for the past two years or so has had charge of the elevator at Crane, died at the hospital in Glendive, Jan., 15, 1930, after a short confinement of some two weeks during which he underwent an operation.
Mr. Fuller was born at Morenci, Michigan, Sep., 8, 1860. It was in his home town that his first marriage to Miss Mable Green took plac. To them was born a daughter but both mother and child died. H later married Alizina Marshall who passed away at Moorehead, Minnesota. Three sisters and two brothers remine to mourn his loss.
Mr. Fuller was a member of Occidental Lodge No 27 A.F. & A.M. of Hope, North Dakota. He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice in this lodge on Jan., 18, 1893, and passed to the degree of a Fellow Craft, March 1, 1893 and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason April 3, 1893. Mr. Fuller was for many years a member of the church.
The funeral services were held from the congregational Church at Savage. Because of a severe storm the Masonic service at the grave had to be omitted, Rev. G. B. Nye officiated at the funeral and gave a short talk on fraternalism as a product of Christianity.
Mrs. Arthur White of Columbia Falls, Montana was the only relative who could be present. She arrived at the hospital only a few hours before her brother passed away.
Mr. Fuller was always an active participant in the activities of the church wherever he lived, and as such he will be greatly missed by the Crane church and the community loses a staunch citizen, and one who was alsway interested in the well being of the community.
Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Savage, Montana.
