Lillian E. Voorheis, 88, of Bath went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 26, 1994. Mrs. Voorheis was born Jan. 7, 1906 in Edmore. She was a member of Bath Baptist Church. Preceding her in death on Jan. 14, 1994 was her husband of 59 years, Arthur.
Surviving are her daughter, Dawn (Richard) Hawks of Bath; son Jack (Loretta) Voorheis of Lansing; six grandchildren, Steven (Annie) Hawks of Okemos, Tim (Cindy) Hawks of Austin, TX, Lisa (Don) Holliday of Elgin, Ill., Jon (Cindy) Hawks of Milford, Michael (Judy) Voorheis of Okemos and Terri Voorheis of Haslett, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Service was at Bath Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Richard G. Cole, Pastor and the Rev. Tim Hawks, Pastor, Hill Country Bible Church, Austin, TX officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friends desiring may make contributions to the Bath Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Voorheis. The family was served by Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel, East Lansing.
