OBITUARY: Bettina M. Dietz YORK Bettina M. (Grove) Dietz, 87, died at 5:30 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2004 at Autumn House- East. She was the wife of the late Michael Dietz who died on June 3, 1988. The couple was married on January 1, 1939. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2004 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, with family and friends meeting at the Pennsylvania Ave. entrance at 9:45 a.m. to process to the grave. Rev. Dr. Charles W. Salisbury of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Freedom will be officiating. Cremation will take place with the Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Mrs. Dietz was born on October 19, 1916 in York County. She was the daughter of the late John J. and Bessie May (Ziegler) Grove. Bettina was a graduate of Hanna Penn High School. She was a homemaker, a member of the Historical Society of York and a former member of the Woman's Club of York. Mrs. Dietz is survived by three sons, Michael, David, and William Dietz, all of York; nine grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
