Mrs. Schlarb had been an Avon representative for ten years and had worked for businesses in Grundy County, Mo. She was born in Sullivan County, Mo., on July 14, 1896, and had spent most of her life in Grundy County. Mrs. Schlarb was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton.
In 1917, she married Henry N. Jaynes. He died in 1924. In February 1926, she married Adolph P. Schlarb in Kansas City. He died in 1966. Mrs. Schlarb was also preceded in death by four brothers, Leonidus R., Leander D., Lee K., and Luther I. Waller; and a sister, Letha Johnson.
Surviving are a son, Phillip J., of Trenton; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
