She had been in failing health several years, and suffered a stroke August 6 from which she never recovered.

All knew her as a loving wife, a kind and affectionate mother and a loving friend. She united with the Methodist church when a young girl.

The funeral service was held at the Methodist church in Geneva at 2 p. m. Sunday with Rev. W. B. Pardun officiating. A quartet sang “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere,” “No Night There” and “Face to Face.” Pallbearers were Ed Watmore, Clarence Nichols, George Ward, Harry Ward, Ora Robbins, and Charles McFaden. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.

“Weep not that her toils are over,
Weep not that her race is run,
God grant we may rest as calmly
When our work, like hers is done,
Till then we yield with gladness,
Our mother to Him to keep,
And rejoice in the sweet assurance
He gives His loved ones sleep.”

Also: Card of thanks.

We wish to thank everyone for their words of sympathy and all those who assisted us in any way during the sickness and at the time of the death of our loved one. THE BROWER FAMILY.
