Miss Nena Myra Derr, who made her home with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Zulma J. Derr, Dill avenue, died Thursday at 7 a.m. at the Frederick Memorial Hospital after an immediate illness of three days. Born in Frederick, a daughter of the late Albert J. and Mary C. Nusz Derr, she was 81 years of age, and was the last of her immediate family.
She is survived only by her sister-in-law with whom she lived, and one niece, Mrs. Mary H. Morgan, this city.
Miss Derr was the last living charter member of the First Baptist Church, this city, and was a long-time member of the Queen Esther Bible Class.
Friends may call at Dailey's Funeral Home, 1201 North Market street until Saturday at 1 p.m., at which time the body will be removed to the First Baptist Church where services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Robert F. Woodward at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetary. Robert E. Dailey and Son, funeral directors.
