Bonum H. 20, Marton J. 18, Martha L. 16, Henry M. 13, Robert B. 11, Mary E. 9, Sarah E. 6.

Vernon enlisted in the C.S.A. Sept. 1862 in Knoxville, Tenn. for 3 years in Co. L.4th. Reg. 8th Tenn Cal. He was captured at Mcleans Gap, Ringold, Georgia April 10th. 1864 and transfered to Camp Morton Ind., where he was paroled March 10 1865. The 8th. was also called the 4th. Bonum H. was a Pvt. in Co. E 19th Tenn. Inf.
