Christina "Katie" BOHRER born 12 August 1834 in Friedental, Simpferopol, Crimea, South Russia was the daughter of Martin BOHRER Jr. (1807-1856) and Philipina THEILAKER (1810-1856).

Christina married Andreas SAILER on the 22 April 1856 in Neusatz, Simpferopol, Crimea, South Russia. The couple was blessed with no less than 10 children; Elizabeth, Dorothea, Jacob, Katharina, Adam, Barbara, Heinrich, Katherina, Susanna and Rosina.

Some 20 years after her husband Andreas SAILER's death Christina at the age of 71 with son Heinrich SAILER and family, immigrated to America via Antwerp, Belgium on the 23rd of December 1905 aboard the SS "Southwark" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 4th of January 1906.

Christina's final destination recorded as Mannhaven, North Dakota to join her son Adam Sailer. As per the January 1920 Federal Census, Christina SAILER lived her final years residing with her daughter Barbara FROESCHER and family in Dunn County, North Dakota.
