Flora M. Owens, 83, of Mill Street, died Monday, Aug. 26 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Baxter D. Owens, Pleasant Acres.
She was born in Glade Spring, Va., the daughter of the late Jeff and Jossie Maude (St.John) Price.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Virgie Freeman, Darlington, Jane Shellenberger, Thomasville and Betty Jo Radford, Hopkinsville, Ky.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Anna Katzel, Roanoke, Va., Gertrude Wolf, Shrewsbury; Ida Alloway and Eula Alloway, both of White Hall, and a brother, Roy Price, Columbus, Ohio.
Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. in the Kenneth W. Osburn Funeral Home, Inc., 19 S. Main St. Rev. Glenn L. Ridall, pastor of Stewartstown Baptist Church, officiated the service. Interment was in Stewartstown Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Kenneth W. Orsburn Funeral Home.
