Heather Joy (Minkler) Sasser of Stafford Virginia formerly of Millington passed from our world into God's Kingdom early Monday morning September 25, 2012 while at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda Maryland, Heather was 23.

Heather was the daughter of Donald G. & Debra R. (Diener) Minkler and was born in Saginaw Michigan on February 7, 1989. Heather grew up in Millington and graduated from the Juniata Christian School with the class of 2007. After high school Heather continued her education in college working towards her Bachelors in graphic arts, Heather was a member of the Pineview Mennonite Church in Vassar MI. and also a member of the Stafford Baptist Church in Stafford VA. On August 12, 2011 Heather was united in marriage to Brandon Sasser.

Heather leaves to cherish her memory husband Brandon, parents, Don & Debra Minkler, sister Bailey Minkler, 2-brothers; Don & Nick Minkler, mother in-law, Mrs. Gloria Sasser, 2-brother in-laws , Nick & wife Angela Kincaid, and Justin Sasser & fiancée Kristina,. Heather leaves also nieces, nephews, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

Heathers family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday Oct.-1-2012 at the Millington United Methodist Church (located at 9020 State road Millington MI 48746) Heather will lie in-state at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the services begin. Pastor Nathan Hendricks will deliver the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery. Burial will follow at the Pineview Mennonite Cemetery on Swaffer Rd., Vassar Michigan.
