Hannah married Nelson Dickerman in 1828, probably in Vermont. Their mothers were cousins. Nelson & Hannah homesteaded in Illinois and raised their family about 3 miles north of Greenfield, Greene Co., Illinois. According to family legend, she was visiting Vermont when she died, and was buried with her sister, Amy Vaughn Morhous in this cemetery. Her husband, Nelson Dickerman, is buried north of Greenfield, Illinois in the Drake-Million Cemetery. She was the mother of six children: Nelson Warren Dickerman, Lyman R. Dickerman, Major Warren Dickerman, Sarah Olivia (Dickerman) Collins, Austin Thomas Dickerman, and my great grandmother, AMANDA LOUISE (DICKERMAN) ZINK.
